Quality Of Tone

An energetic and lively sounding guitar with crisp and clear definition. A strong bass presence and balanced across mids and trebles. This guitar is loud, with an open focus and an uplifting finish. There is plenty of acoustic resonance to saturate melody lines evenly making for a very playful experience

A mint David Webber guitar matched in timeless tone woods. The serial number is 4106807 and the guitar has had one owner. The instrument was originally comissioned by Paramount Guitars in Watertown WI.

The Webber Jumbo has a slightly shallower depth compared to other jumbos (3.5″ at the neck to 4″ at the tail) and feels more like an OM sized guitar.

David Webber began his career as a luthier under the direction of the great Canadian builder Jean Larrivee. Webber guitars share a similar geometry, neck fit and finish as Jean’s famous guitars. This Webber features a narrower waist then most jumbo boxes which lends itself to be a very comfortable playing guitar. This is an original Webber design.

This guitar has a soft look, inherit of the venetian cut-away. The body has an inviting and comfortable sense to it similar to an old friend that you haven’t seen for years. For me this memory is more intimately related to my original inspiration to procure fine guitars and my passion for tone. Here in the romance I feel a feminine pulse from this guitar. A surge and lust for more time together yet a satisfaction in waiting.
