The Ecstatic Guitar Theorem

This is a Joi Guitar original body, headstock, rosette design, bracing pattern and voice. It was crafted in 2017 by Reuben Forsland in his shop in Comox BC. The unique rosette composition was inspired by moon cycles and crop circles. This particular guitar features a special top directly sourced from Haida Gwaii, BC (The archipelago Symphontree Music is located on). The one of a kind fret markers are made from fine sterling silver and crushed marble. Reuben chose to use the “sister” neck slab from Guns N Roses guitarists, Slash’s, custom guitar commission.

Notion of Design

The marriage of two outstanding, traditional woods, sitka spruce and Honduran mahogany as an iconic instrument with an incredible story. The spruce was locally sourced from the ancient forests of Haida Gwaii and the figured mahogany is famously known as, “The Tree”

A refined guitar with an incredible character and profound voice. Clean detailed lines, historic wood, and provocative curves make this an instrument that you will not soon forget.
