Sincerity

This is a Sahlstrom Stringed Instruments original body, headstock, rosette design as well as bracing pattern and voice. This guitar also features Joel’s newest innovation coined the “Sostenuto Pedal” by Symphontree Music. This pedal allows users to intimately control intermediate tone and decay through the use of a five stage sound port cover. This cover acts like a pedal which sustains the tone softly for the listener while it is depressed. It also allows users to experience the tone on five different levels and prolong the musical passage by altering the energy flow in the box. This guitar was crafted for Symphontree Music by Joel Sahlstrom and delivered late Septemeber 2017. All elements of the design are Joel’s original designs and concepts.

 

 

Notion of Design

This guitar was crafted for Symphontree Music with the goal of highlighting the significance of Joel Sahlstrom’s recent work. “Anouk” is a triple O guitar shape with an arm bevel and no cut away. The materials were specifically chosen by Joel Sahlstrom to craft a guitar with a profound look and presence backed in heaps of open tone.

 

The clean executed lines pair up beautifully with the natural “streaking” of the sunken wood to craft an outstanding musical instrument with a refined voice and sophisticated look.
