This years garden promises a bounty of food to share with guests, friends and the local community. All guests at Symphontree Music will have the opportunity to savour the freshest food possible, cooked to perfection by a professionally trained chef.  It is no secret that great food and music go hand in hand. In an effort to provide the best culinary experience possible all food is grown fresh in the garden and prepared in a La Cornue Range with natural convection.




This hand made range is the one of the most highly sought after culinary tools in the world and even has a place in the kitchen of world renowned chef Gordon Ramsay , from the hit TV show, “Hell’s Kitchen”. It is revered as the best oven design possible, especially  for roasting meats. This same range was the original muse for culinary sensation, Julia Childs.

All food is grown organically with no fertilizers or chemicals. The soil is made here in the garden using only local sourced ingredients including tone wood shavings, kelp, green manure, worm castings, compost, bone meal, seashells, sand, rotted wood, moss and even feathers from the chickens. There is music playing 24 hrs a day in the garden to make sure these vegetables develop strong rudiments. The music seems to attract garden friendly animals like the birds and bees and deter pests like deer and bunnies.

All eggs come from our five free range heritage hens.

Baked goods are prepared with a local yeast harvested in the garden. This single origin yeast is very fruitful in it’s flavour and produces large pioneer loaves of bread using only two ingredients, flour, water. This yeast is used to make any yeast bread from sweet cinnamon buns to savoury english muffins. The yeast has also been harvested in a gluten free form for guests with gluten allergies to enjoy the flavours offered from the local yeast without the wheat.
